Michy Batshuay Tunga is a Belgium’s big thing player who was born on October 2nd, 1993. As a striker, he plays for Olympique de Marseille as well as Belgian national football team. He is of Congolese descent as his parents are from Congo and migrated to Belgium when he was kid.
Career on clubs
When starting his football career, he played for RFC Evere in 2003 to 2004. Right after that, he joined RUSA Schaarbeek for the season of 2004 to 2005. Later on, he officially joined Brussels in 2006 and Anderlecht in 2007. In 2008, he officially signed a professional contract with Standard Liege.

Michy Batshuayi made his first debut on February 20th, 2011 with senior team of Standard Liege. The match was ended with 4-1 loss to Gent. He only scored one goal against F.CCopenhagen with 1-0 winning in the last Group B match during UEFA Europa League in 2011-2012 season. It made his team successfully stepped on the knockout stage.

Michy Batshuayi signed a professional contract with Olympique de Marseille on August 8th, 2014. He scored his first goal that made the club won over Rennes at Coupe de la Ligue especially at the third round on October 29th, 2014.

He is also rumored to join with some Premier League clubs such as Newcastle, Crystal Palace and also Tottenham. However, he renewed his contract with Marseille. He already promised his future career with Marseille. The contract will be over in 2020. It means that Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Tottenham don’t have hope anymore to ask Batshuayi to join to their team.
Career on international matches
Michi Batshuayi was qualified to play for Congo national football team since his parents are Congolese. However, he finally ruled out the option by joining Belgian national team even though he said that his Cogolese heritage means everything to him. He officially joined Belgian national football team in March 2015. He also has a younger brother who plays for Anderlecht yout team, Aaron Leya Iseka who is still seventeen years old.
Batshuayi made his first international debut with Belgium on March 28th, 2015 in a qualification match at UEFA EURO 2016 when his team against Cyprus. He substituted Christian Benteke during minute 77. Three minutes later he scored a goal from the outside of penalty area. It made his team win the game with 5-0 winning and made him nominated as Belgium’s big thing player.
